PadelAZ at Maracana is Arizona's first indoor padel club and the first indoor padel court west of Florida (opened January 2023, second court January 2024). Inside the Maracana Indoor Sports Arena (28,000 sqft with 150x60 ft turf field). Owned by Mladen Kozak (Bosnian native) and wife Jess Zeitler-Kozak (U of A faculty). Hosts tournaments with Tucson's Kuwaiti community via the U of A Kuwaiti Club. Collaborates with The Pad and Padel Alley to grow padel in Southern Arizona.
