W.T. Johnson Community Center (Augusta Recreation Department) features 2 indoor pickleball courts. Named for William Taft "W.T." Johnson (1908-1984), Paine College graduate 1937 and first Attendance Officer for Richmond County Board of Education — President of the Georgia State Recreation Association, Augusta Recreation Dept Employee of the Year 1973.
